Denise Richards’s estranged husband Aaron Phypers shared photos from inside their $3.5million home on Friday.
He has accused Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Richards, 54, of leaving the rental property in a mess when she moved out.
It was not made clear how much of the mess Phypers made himself.
The 52-year-old actor gave a tour of the abandoned home to Inside Edition and showcased the rooms with piles of moth-covered clothes strewn about as well as the furniture covered in trash and dust.
‘There’s hundreds of dollars worth of vintage clothing in here. It is riddled with moths,’ Phypers claimed during the interview.
Richards denied his claims and said she had not lived at the home in two years, according to court documents obtained by Page Six.
This comes after the reality TV star scored a significant legal win at her first court appearance in her contentious divorce battle with Phypers.

The Daily Mail has reached out to Richards’s reps for comment.
In her legal paperwork, she blamed her ex and his family for being the ones who ‘severely damaged the property and left the house in a state of disarray’.
Phypers resides in the lower level of the property with his parents, brother and Richards’s 15 dogs.
However, the actor insisted in the segment that his estranged wife is responsible for the state of the house and claimed: ‘I don’t know if it’s hoarding. It’s something.’
In his home tour video, Phypers also showcased a messy bathroom, in which a sprawling countertop was covered from end to end in toiletries and cleaning supplies.
‘She buys makeup and keeps buying makeup and gets more makeup,’ he said about his ex as he pointed to the mess.
Richards and Phypers had been married for six years before he filed for divorce in July, citing ‘irreconcilable differences‘.
In court on Monday, Richards’s restraining order request hearing was postponed to next month.
According to People, however, a judge gave her access to one of their residences on September 13 in order to ‘retrieve her mother’s and her own personal property, including the dogs’ while her estranged husband was ordered to stay 100 yards away from the home, as stated in the temporary restraining order, which Richards was granted in July.

He also gave Inside Edition an up-close-and-personal look at the squalid state of the carpets and rugs in the rooms

Earlier this week, a judge gave her access to one of their residences in order to ‘retrieve her mother’s and her own personal property, including the dogs’ while her estranged husband was ordered to stay 100 yards away
The filing also specified Phypers ‘must take no action which would interfere with Ms Richards’s access.’
The businessman was also ordered to give Richards back her laptop and old cell phone by the end of September 9, despite his previous denial of The World Is Not Enough star’s claim he had stolen them from her.
Phypers had initially requested the hearing be pushed back but his estranged wife’s legal team argued ‘any further continuance will prejudice Denise and cause further distress to Denise by not allowing her finality to her Request For Domestic Violence Restraining Order’.
Richards recently noted she is going through a ‘very, very, very difficult time’ amid her bitter split from Phypers, which has seen her accuse him of abuse and him allege she was unfaithful.
Richards – who shares daughters Sami, 21, and Lola, 20, with ex-husband Charlie Sheen and is also mother to her 14-year-old adopted daughter Eloise – shared an update with her fans on Instagram following their split.
‘I was just checking in to see how your summer’s been going. Mine’s been wonderful. It’s actually been sh**ty, but I’m going to pretend like it’s all good,’ she admitted.

‘I’ve actually been posting on Instagram like nothing is going on in my life, and I can’t do that anymore because there’s something obviously going on,’ she added.
‘I see all of your messages, I can’t comment because it’ll be taken out and put in the press, but I just wanted to, in all seriousness, say that this has been a very, very, very difficult time. It’s so hard to go through a divorce.
‘Many of you have gone through that. This isn’t my first one – this is my second one. I never thought I’d get divorced again. This is why I always say, never say never.
‘I really just wanted to say thank you so much for all of your supportive, kind, thoughtful, encouraging messages because this has been a very difficult time.’
The actress vowed to tell her side of the story ‘one day’.
She said: ‘The circumstances around my divorce are difficult to talk about — one day I will talk about it when the timing is right.’
But for now, she wants to ‘process everything and get through this’. She added: ‘It has not been easy, so your messages mean a lot.’
