Isa si Herlene Budol sa mga nalungkot at nakisimpatya sa pinagdaraanan ng kapwa Kapuso actress na si Ashley Ortega sa loob ng Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) house.
Sa episode ng PBB: Celebrity Collab Edition noong March 19, 2025, dumulog si Ashley kay Big Brother para sabihin ang mabigat niyang pinagdaraanan.
Ayon kay Ashley, nakakaramdam siya ng matinding kalungkutan habang nasa loob ng PBB house.
“Kuya, I miss home. I miss my dog, I miss my friends. Naiinis ako dito, ang dami kong nararamdaman,” umiiyak na sumbong ni Ashley.
Sabi pa niya, hindi niya maintindihan kung bakit siya down na down nitong mga nakaraang araw.
“Hindi ko alam bakit ako iyak nang iyak. Ayoko itong nararamdaman ko ngayon. I am so overwhelmed. Napapagod ako, kuya.”

Ang nararamdaman daw niyang emosyon ay lalong tumindi nang tuluyang umalis sa loob ng bahay ang kanyang boyfriend na si Mavy Legaspi at ang naging malapit sa kanyang si Ivana Alawi.
Saad ni Ashley, “Ang dami kong nararamdamang mga emotion, naiyak na lang din ako because of all the emotions that I felt this week.
“From Mavy leaving, from being paired with Ivana and then her leaving, gusto ko magmukmok mag-isa.
“Gusto ko umiyak mag-isa. Ayokong i-express ang nararamdaman ko, e, gusto ko lang umiyak.”
AC BONIFACIO’S “FAKE” REMARK ABOUT ASHLEY ORTEGA
Ang pag-iyak ni Ashley kay Big Brother ay ikinalungkot ng kanyang mga tagahanga.
Wari ng mga fans ni Ashley, nagpadagdag sa emosyon ng aktres ang natanggap niyang komento sa kapwa housemates na sina AC Bonifacio at Kira Balinger.
Nangyari ito matapos sabihin ni AC na hindi nagpapakatotoo ang Kapuso actress sa loob ng PBB house.

Noong March 18, nagtipun-tipon ang Kapamilya housemates para pagdesisyunan kung sinong Kapuso housemate ang nais nilang iligtas at bigyan ng “immunity” sa nomination night.
Isa si Ashley sa mga suggestions, ngunit mariin itong tinutulan ni AC.
Ani AC: “Can I say something, just about Ashley. Si Ashley yung pinaka… I feel like it’s still being fake in this house.”
Ito ay pinaboran ni Kira Balinger.
Saad ni Kira, “I feel guilty that I feel the same way.
“Like, I’m trying to reach, like when she’s there I’m trying to connect with her.
“Like I really try to say, you know, like, ‘Thank you for curling my hair,’ and stuff.
“But I don’t feel the genuine in her. Hindi ko sinasabi na she has any bad intentions, but the heart, I’m not so sure.”
Dahil sa obserbasyon na ito nina AC at Kira, napagdesisyunan ng iba pang Kapamilya housemates na sina Klarisse De Guzman, Esnyr, Brent Manalo, River Joseph, at Ralph de Leon na huwag ibigay kay Ashley ang immunity.
Bagkus, pinili nila si Charlie Fleming.
HERLENE BUDOL DEFENDS ASHLEY FROM CRITICS
Matapos mapanood ang pagdulog ni Ashley kay Big Brother at ang mga sinabi nina AC at Kira tungkol sa dalaga, napa-react ang Kapuso actress na si Herlene.
Hindi pa nakakatrabaho ni Herlene si Ashley, pero naawa raw siya sa kanya.
Sa kanyang Facebook post noong March 20, hinamon ng beauty queen si Big Brother na ipasok siya sa loob ng bahay para lang maiganti ang kapwa Kapuso actress na si Ashley.
Saad nito, “Parang naawa ako kay Ashley. Kuya, ipasok mo ako, talakan ko lang mga namamlastik kay Ashley sa loob.”

Nag-upload din ng isang video sa Facebook si Herlene para sagutin ang ilang katanungan ng kanyang fans kung siya ba ay papasok sa PBB.
Pahayag niya sa video: “Ang daming nagtatanong sa akin kung papasok daw ba ako sa bahay ni Kuya sa PBB.
“Ay, malaman, itaas ang kamay ng mga gustong makapasok si Herlene Budol sa loob ng bahay ni Kuya.
“Siyempre, hindi ko ilalagay yung sarili ko diyan. Baka mamaya magkalabasan ng totoong ugali. Ay, talagang finish na talaga!”
Inilarawan pa ni Herlene kung ano ang mga maaaring mangyari kung siya ay magiging isang PBB housemate.
“Tapos malaman-laman ko may mga mamba-backstab sa akin. Nako day, sinasabi ko sa iyo, wala nang maipapalabas, puro bleep-bleep na lang.
“Wala ng intro-intro, wrestling na lang agad. Pero siyempre, eme lang.
“Halimbawa lang may mga maaarte roon, hindi marunong magsaing, ‘Huy day, hindi ako pumasok dito para gawin mong katulong.’”
Biro pa ni Herlene sa video, kahit utos ni Big Brother ay malamang susuwayin niya.
“Tapos halimbawa maaga call time, tapos unang gabi ko doon, tapos gigisingin ni Kuya, ‘Bumangon na kayo, mga housemates.’
“Ay, day, talagang sasabihin ko, ‘Kuya, five minutes!’”
