Jennifer Lopez is ready to date again almost one year after separating from Ben Affleck. 

The Unstoppable actress noted in her divorce papers the two separated in April. She filed in August and they finalized their divorce at the start of 2025.

Now the 55-year-old iconic singer and dancer wants to find romance again after spending months with her family and friends to ‘heal her broken heart.’

‘Jennifer wants to be in love again,’ a source told DailyMail.com.

Though she has been linked to Yellowstone actor Kevin Costner after they spent time at the iconic western apparel store Kemo Sabe in Aspen Colorado over Christmas, she is interested in another Yellowstone type.

‘She had a crush on Rip Wheeler from Yellowstone and wants a guy like that, someone who can have her back and make sure she is OK. She wants to be put first and made to feel special,’ the pal noted.

‘Her life is a lot, she needs a man who can handle all that and still love her unconditionally like the way Rip love Beth Dutton.’

In an odd twist, Ben is friends with the actor who plays Rip: Cole Hauser. They starred together in Good Will Hunting. This week Cole faced heartbreak when his father Wings Hauser died at age 77.

Meanwhile, Lopez is busy with her career.

‘She wants this summer to be amazing after a tough start to the year,’ said a friend to DailyMail.com.

First she is filming her new movie Office Romance in New Jersey with Ted Lasso star Brett Goldstein.

Then she will perform on June 6, 2025 at the World Pride Music Festival in Washington, DC.

And she will celebrate her 56th birthday, which falls on July 24, in style with her twins Max and Emme.

Though Jennifer had a terrific 2024 with her career – Atlas was a major success – she was put in a negative light after ending her marriage to Ben.

She was portrayed as the one with the problem after so many marriages went bust: her husbands have included Ojani Noa, Cris Judd, Marc Anthony and Ben. She was also engaged to Alex Rodriguez.

Also on the schedule for 2025 is her film Kiss Of The Spider Woman. It is a musical that she stars in and helped produce with Affleck.

Kiss of the Spider Woman is an adaptation of the 1993 Broadway musical by John Kander, Fred Ebb and Terrence McNally, which in turn was based on the 1976 novel by Manuel Puig.

The story was previously adapted for a 1985 film starring William Hurt, Raul Julia and Sônia Braga.

Jennifer plays Aurora, a fantasy woman conjured up by Luis Molina, a gay hairdresser imprisoned in Argentina circa 1981 along with Valentin Arregui Paz, a Marxist.

Molina dreams of Aurora in classic movies, including her role as a spider woman.

The movie got a great reception when it was screened at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year.

There are also her bustling side businesses like Delola and JLo Beauty. ‘She will have a new product coming out for JLo Beauty, she is excited about it. She loves working on her brands,’ said the insider.
