Game 2 of the Boston Celtics vs. New York Knicks game is full of controversy. The Celtics are leading the Knicks, 73-61, late in the third quarter.

The Knicks shocked the basketball world with a surprising win in Game 1, taking down the Celtics in overtime. They’ve had some tough sledding in Game 2, though.

While the Celtics were a clear favorite heading into Game 2 – the sportsbooks had them favored by more than 10 points – many fans – especially those cheering for the Knicks – believe that they’ve been on the receiving end of some bad calls.

NBA fans have accused the officiating crew of James Capers, Kevin Scott, Mark Lindsay and Ray Acosta of “rigging” the game on Wednesday evening.

“Knicks have not played well, but this is about as rigged a game as you’ll see. Anytime the Knicks get something going the referees make a pivotal call in the Celtics favor and the Knicks get no calls whatsoever. NBA clearly told the referees the Celtics win tonight,” one fan wrote.

“The Boston Celtics are unbeatable if they have the refs on their side they’re getting every single call it’s rigged for the Celtics to win this game and the rest of the series,” one fan added.

“The NBA is rigged against the Knicks and for the Celtics. What the hell am I watching,” one fan added.

“So the Refs call Fouls on the Knicks until Celtics are 12+ points in the lead- every time lead goes below 10 Refs go back to calling fouls on the Knicks. This is a totally Rigged game,” one fan added.

“The games are rigged obviously,” one fan added.

NBA fans were particularly furious with a ridiculous charge call on Knicks star OG Anunoby.

Game 2 of the Knicks vs. Celtics playoff series is airing on TNT on Wednesday evening.

Game 3 of the playoff series is set for Saturday.
