Cooper Flagg has officially announced his decision on the 2025 NBA Draft.

The standout Duke Blue Devils freshman is coming off a sensational freshman season in which he was named the National Player of the Year. Flagg, a five-star freshman from Maine, averaged 19.2 points, 7.5 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game.

Flagg is widely projected to be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. However, he had yet to officially announce his decision.

Some had speculated that he could return to school and maybe make as much at Duke as he could have made as a rookie in the NBA.

Still, he’s made his decision official.

Flagg announced on Monday morning, April 21 that he has officially declared for the 2025 NBA Draft.

“League next. Duke forever. Thank you,” the Duke Blue Devils announced.

Flagg posted a simple message on his Instagram page, including some of his best highlights while playing at Duke.

“🤞🏻💙,” he wrote.

Flagg is widely projected to be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. The Utah Jazz, Washington Wizards and Charlotte Hornets will have the best chance to select Flagg.

The 2025 NBA Draft Lottery is set to take place on Monday, May 12.
