There is an emergency currently taking place at TD Garden in Boston following Game 2 of the Celtics vs. Knicks second round playoff series.

The Knicks topped the Celtics in wild fashion on Wednesday evening. New York stormed back from a 20-point deficit to take down the defending NBA champions. The Knicks now have a 2-0 series lead heading into Game 3 at Madison Square Garden on Saturday afternoon.

More seriously, there is reportedly an emergency at TD Garden in Boston, immediately following Game 2 on Wednesday evening.

Everyone inside of the arena is being evacuated. Fire alarms are currently going off. People are being told to not take the elevators out of the arena.

NBA reporter Fred Katz shared the news.

“There is an emergency at TD Garden in Boston. Evacuating the building with fire alarms going off. They made an announcement not to take elevators. Quite the ending to the evening,” he reported on Wednesday evening.

Obviously, Celtics fans are shocked and frustrated by Wednesday night’s loss, but hopefully, there isn’t anything more serious going on inside of TD Garden.

Game 3 of the second round playoff series between the Knicks and the Celtics is set for Saturday afternoon.
