Marcus Jordan, the son of basketball legend Michael Jordan, is still dealing with the fallout from his February 4 arrest in Florida.

Marcus Jordan, 34, was found by police in Maitland, Fla. when his Lamborghini SUV got stuck on railroad tracks.

Authorities determined Jordan displayed signs of being under the influence, and after Jordan failed field sobriety tests, he was brought in and charged with felony ketamine possession, misdemeanor DUI with property damage and a misdemeanor count of resisting an officer.

Jordan pleaded not guilty to all three charges last month, but according to TMZ, is now admitting to having a substance abuse problem. He and his lawyers are also angling for the former UCF guard to be placed in a pre-trial substance abuse treatment intervention program.

“Jordan’s attorneys argued the program would ‘not only benefit him personally but also serve the community by reducing the likelihood of future offenses,’” TMZ wrote.

“They added in the documents that Michael’s son “is amenable to treatment.”

Officers said Marcus Jordan was combative throughout the arrest, calling him “loud, profane and belligerent” and saying he exhibited a “a sarcastic, patronizing attitude towards” cops.

At one point, Jordan requested officers play holiday music, saying “Play some Mariah Carey up in this bitch.”

Since his arrest, Marcus Jordan has remained mostly low-key, though he did comment on the incident indirectly on Instagram on Feb. 6.

“I appreciate everyone reaching out,” Jordan wrote. “I sincerely appreciate your concerns & thank you for your kind understanding.”

Michael Jordan, meanwhile, has yet to address his son’s legal troubles. If we had to guess, he never will speak on the matter publicly.
