New Orleans Pelicans star Zion Williamson is at the center of a disturbing story this week.

How Zion Williamson's weight transformation impacts Pelicans' future

On Monday, a woman by the name of Ahkeema Love was arrested for stalking and aggravated battery. According to Fletcher Mackel of WDSU, she was romantically linked to Williamson.

Well, it turns out the woman that Love was threatening has also been linked to Williamson.

Love allegedly entered the victim’s house, grabbed her by the hair and hit her with keys. The victim’s fingernails were reportedly torn off and she had lacerations on her face.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, Williamson’s stalker has also been accused of egging the victim’s house.

Although she tried to escape the police, Love was eventually arrested in a gated community in Kenner.

She has been charged with three counts of home invasion, aggravated battery, and stalking.

Love’s bond was set at $50,000. As you’d expect, she has been ordered to stay away from the victim.

Williamson has not commented on this concerning situation. The Pelicans recently shut him down for the final few games of the 2024-25 regular season due to a contusion in his lower back.

The former No. 1 pick from Duke appeared in 30 games for the Pelicans this season, averaging 24.6 points, 7.2 rebounds and 5.3 assists per contest
