Gwyneth Paltrow’s mini-me daughter Apple Martin has landed her first major fashion deal at the age of 21.

On Tuesday it was announced that she is working with London-based fashion house self-portrait, marking the first time she will be the face of a brand.

Revealed through a series of self-portraits shot by Apple, the announcement ‘captures the effortless, confident and self-expressive spirit of a generation of young customers that continues to inspire the fashion house and its designs,’ a press release shared.

The collaboration between Apple and self-portrait will ‘evolve and unfold over the coming months through a series of fashion portraits, films and activations.’

Established in 2013 by Han Chong, self-portrait ‘has become synonymous with empowering its customers through functional dressing for day and night, inspiring women with a global mindset and effortless spirit.’

Established in the UK in 2013 by Malaysian founder and designer Han Chong, self-portrait is a modern fashion house based in London which has become synonymous with modern ‘occasionwear for day and night.’

Apple joins the self-portrait family which includes Emily Ratajkowski, Gigi Hadid, Naomi Campbell, Irina Shayk, Bella Hadid, Kate Moss, Jisoo and Phoebe Dynenvor.

The brand has been worn by Beyoncé, Olivia Rodrigo, Michelle Obama, BlackPink, Paris Hilton, Selena Gomez, Cynthia Erivo, Gigi Hadid, and more.

Fuelled by his own training at Central Saint Martins, Han is ‘committed to supporting the next generation of creative talent and in 2018, established a five-year scholarship program with Central Saint Martins offering financial backing for five students to complete their MA degree as well as offering mentorship on navigating the realities of operating a fashion business self-portrait is dedicated to reducing its environmental impact by using responsibly sourced fibres and in 2019 started to introduce organic cotton and recycled chiffon across its collections.’

This comes after she was seen in Nashville last week.

The college student was dressed casually as she was on the campus of her college, Vanderbilt University.

The star had on a T-shirt by self-portrait that flashed a bit of her slender tummy as she added low-rise blue denim jeans and black block heels from Repetto. Instead of a backpack full of books, the student had a chic black Prada purse on her shoulder.

The daughter of singer Chris Martin, 48, wore her blonde hair down over her shoulders and dark glasses resting on her nose and a silver heart pendant around her neck. With earbuds in as she listened to her phone, she seemed lost in another world.

‘Apple is loving college life, it is a great fit for her and offers her so much as far as academics and a sense of community,’ a friend told the Daily Mail. ‘She has really taken to the lifestyle and has made a lot of new friends, which is important to her. She certainly is thriving in Nashville.’

Apple is currently a college junior at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.

‘I’m a law, history, and society major but […] maybe I’ll take a theater course before I leave,’ Apple revealed to Interview magazine in April.

She also told W magazine that she likes the ‘vibes’ of Nashville.

‘Vibes are great, honestly. It’s so much easier for me to get out of bed and walk to class when it’s pretty outside. Um, yeah.

‘It’s really busy because after spring break I have tech week and I have to get everyone’s costumes ready for the show.’

And Martin is working on a show there: ‘Oh my god, so—I’m in the lovely Vanderbilt Original Cast, the esteemed cabaret theater group. This semester’s show is a musical parody of Love Island called Love on an Island. It’s so fun. The songs are phenomenal.’

Apple celebrated her 21st birthday in May.

She had marked the milestone with a glitzy ‘debutante’ coming-of-age ball back in December.

The high society affair was held in Paris at the $1,000-a-night Hotel Shangri-La, and Apple was joined by handsome date Count Leo Henckel von Donnersmarck, who hails from Austro-Hungarian nobility.

Apple’s proud parents were also in attendance, as was her brother Moses, who is now 19.

There was backlash against her where she was accused of being snobby.

Some even said she was a ‘mean girl’ like her movie star mother Paltrow who is thriving with her brand GOOP these days.

‘I don’t know how anyone has a problem with us. We are such a delight,’ Apple and her two friends mouthed to a voiceover on social media.

‘We are two of the funniest girls and I know us, like offline,’ one of her friends lipsynched as the camera cut to Crox. ‘When I tell you, there aren’t two more caring, charitable, generous, kind…’

Loppin de Montmort came to Apple’s defense amid the mounting backlash.

‘[Apple’s] genuinely the nicest girl ever!’ she told People. ‘She really doesn’t deserve an ounce of what she’s getting.

‘She was the nicest girl ever towards not only me but all the debs!’ she added.
