She left viewers in hysterics with her tongue-in-cheek crush on the show.

And it seems that I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! star Ruby Wax took her ‘romance’ with Kiosk Kev to the next level, as the pair were pictured enjoying a dinner date together.

Since 2018, Kev, who’s real name is Mark Herlaar, has been a fan favourite in charge of giving out the goodies after the Dingo Dollar Challenge.

Ruby had a hilarious crush on Kev whilst on the show, with multiple moments of her appearing overly giddy whenever he was around, and especially after she managed to get a wink from him.

Mark himself shared a snap of his dinner with Ruby on Instagram, writing: ‘What’s going on here then, Ruby?’ with a winking emoji.’

He went on to share a sweet tribute to both Ruby and her husband Ed Bye, after she was voted out of the jungle in a surprise exit on Wednesday.

‘Wow we talked for hours shared life stories and our passion to help people over come and to be able to deal with mental illness.

‘Ruby’s charity @frazzleduk and her own life story is such an inspiration.

Frazzled is a charity where people can share their stories and stresses of modern day life in a safe space and without judgement.

She also said ‘I left too early didn’t I Kev?’ and Kev hastily nodded in agreement.

Ruby shared with the caption ‘reunited with Kev and a huge, huge thankyou to everyone who voted for me.

‘It was an amazing experience and something I’ll never forget. Thankyou also for all the wonderful comments and messages you’ve been sending, it’s been lovely to read them.’

During an Interview with This Morning Ed poked fun at his wife’s crush, saying: ‘Given an opportunity I would go and have a word with Kiosk Kev…’

During an Interview with This Morning, Ed joked: ‘Given an opportunity I would go and have a word with Kiosk Kev about all of this but the fact he doesn’t say anything would make it rather pointless…’

The film maker also admitted he felt that while audiences at home were seeing much more of the ‘real’ Ruby away from her on-screen ‘persona’, she still had more to give.

Ed hinted that Ruby had still been ‘performing’ for the cameras on the ITV show, even if she had been opening up more to her campmates.

He concluded: ‘What you’re seeing now is closer to the real Ruby, interestingly even in that environment rather than on her other television programmes where she’s more of a persona.

Ruby was the fifth star to bid farewell to the jungle in Wednesday’s show, with many of the remaining seven celebrities breaking down in tears as they learned of her exit.

Speaking to hosts Ant and Dec about her experience, Ruby described her remaining campmates as ‘family,’ and said she was ‘sad’ to bid farewell to them.

She told them: ‘I can’t believe it. It was fantasy land, suddenly there’s a light. We were just a cluster of loving people.

‘Totally forgot the outside world, we shaved each other, investigated each other’s lower regions. I was checking Lisa’s bowels this morning, doesn’t get any closer.

‘When I signed up I thought, “Let’s give this a go” but I wasn’t expecting this. This is family and I’m sad I lost them. I wasn’t expecting this. I was the queen, “How can she be abducted?”

‘I got away with everything by charm. I was the queen but not voted so, I had to behead someone.

‘When I became leader, they were my servants. When you’re leader and you’re so in the walls of reality, you are the leader.

‘I can’t believe we’ve been voted out but OK, so be it.’

On her relationship with Aitch and Ginge, she added: ‘I don’t know why I was drawn to them but we had so much in common, I knew I would be friends with them.

‘Tom Read Wilson was very romantic, he wooed me and won me.

‘We all became slightly hysterical and became five years old and I lay on Lisa’s breast every night and I went to about three years old.

When she was told Aitch and Ginge took more than one milk bottle each, she said: ‘I’ll have to punish them when they come out, very badly, I can’t believe it. OK, I will deal with that.

‘I had more than fun, I bonded.’

Fans were quick to share their fury that Ruby had been voted out, with some declaring she should have made it to the final.
