Love Island Australia star has fought off tears as he described running from gunmen during Sunday’s terror attack at Bondi Beach.

Josh Moss, 32, who appeared on the first season of the reality series in 2018, shared an emotional video to his Instagram on Monday detailing his horrific experience as a rain of gunfire broke out at the tourist hotspot on Sunday evening.

‘I was at Bondi yesterday when the attacks happened. Luckily, I was able to run away to safety. I am still speechless at what I saw,’ Josh began in the clip.

‘I was down at Bondi yesterday and saw some pretty horrific things,’ he continued.

‘Parents grabbing their kids, grandparents sprinting, brothers and sisters grabbing each other with a look of absolute fear in their eyes, terrified.

‘I’m not sure why I’m even making this video. Maybe to raise awareness and come together, but I do feel pretty weird today that I was able to run away to safety and other people weren’t.

‘I don’t know how to feel. I’m a bit numb as to why I was able to get away.’

Josh struggled not to break down as he urged people to come together in the wake of the tragedy.

‘I think it’s important that we come together. Tell your loved ones how much they mean to you and put your arm around someone,’ he said.

‘I can’t even imagine the people out there who have someone close to them who has been affected by this, who have suffered injury or even worse.

‘My heart goes out to the Jewish community or any other families that were affected by this.

‘To me, Australia has always been the safest place and at the moment it doesn’t feel that way, which is…’ he broke off, before continuing on.

‘I’m a bit speechless by the whole thing. Tell someone you love them and give them a big hug, we need to stick together,’ the reality star said.

It comes after two men stepped out of a vehicle on Campbell Parade, near Bondi Pavilion, and opened fire about 6.47pm on Sunday.
